In 2007, when I was pregnant with my second daughter, I was asked to give a speech about my life as the daughter of a person living with MS. After I spoke at the Women Against MS Luncheon in Long Island, I knew that I would always do anything I could to support efforts to end the devastating effects of MS. Since that time, I used Facebook as a tool to donate money for the MS Walk, and I’ve donated services to the National MS Society, Long Island Chapter.

Now, let’s switch gears. In addition to being a supporter of MS-related causes, I am also a partner in theKbuzz– a Word of Mouth Marketing firm dedicated to helping companies authentically amplify conversation around their brand. We’ve got a blog, and if you ask me, it’s damn good. We’ve been blogging for a long time, and we’ve built up a good fan base. But I want the BEST fan base. And so…here’s my idea:

For every person who subscribes to my blog anytime within the next 48 hours, I will personally donate $0.50 to the MS Society. Up to 5000 people, $2500.

I am asking you to match that $0.50 donation to the National MS Society, by clicking here, and donating $0.50 If you’ve got it, go for it. If not, subscribing is just fine.

There’s only one thing I ask…I ONLY want people who are INTERESTED in Word of Mouth Marketing to subscribe. So, if you are not someone who is interested in marketing, and the power of word of mouth or social media, I ask that you simply forward this to someone who you think MIGHT be interested. That’s far more valuable than subscribing and not being interested in what we have to say.

Make sure to check out our blog first and make sure it floats your boat, and thank you for spreading the word.
